Sophie Cunningham of Fever calls the list of injuries for injuries ‘Broma of disease’ of the team

Indiana’s fever returned to the Victorias column on Friday to keep their hopes of playoffs alive, despite its exhausted list.

Five players who started the 2025 season on the Faver list have been lost due to injuries that end the season. To worsen things, those injury setbacks occurred within a two -month window.

On Thursday, the WNBA star, Caitlin Clark, announced that it had been ruled out for the rest of this season. Clark has been marginalized since July 15, when he suffered an injury in the groin in a game against Connecticut Sun.

“I spent hours in the gym every day with the unique objective of returning, disappointed is not a word large enough to describe how I feel,” wrote the shipowner in X.

Fever loses Caitlin Clark for the rest of the 2025 season

The fever companions, Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald, each fell with their own significant injuries during a confrontation with the Phoenix Mercury last month. Colson suffered a torn acl, while McDonald was diagnosed with a broken foot.

Cunningham found his own problems when he suffered a MCL lesion that ended the season on August 27.

In other places, Indiana recently confirmed that forward Chloe Bibby would not return to the court this season.

Before the fever was host of Chicago Sky on Friday, the five players mentioned gathered at Center Court for a group photo. Two of the fever players leaned on crutches, while McDonald sat on a scooter.

A few minutes after the post, Cunningham needed only three words to answer.

“A sick joke,” he wrote in X.

Indiana was inactive on Saturday, but entered the day in third place in the classification of the Eastern Conference. The fever will return to action on Sunday when they face Washington’s mystics in Baltimore, Maryland.
