- After working apparently with the Apple TV application for some users, Netflix says it was not planned
- The transmission service calls the integration that some people saw ‘inadvertent’
- In addition, Netflix does not expect to adopt integration into the future
One of the main benefits of the Apple TV application, in an Apple TV 4K or other platform transmission box, is that it is not only home to Apple TV Plus Originals and MLS Season games, but it is also a center for what you have been transmitting in other services.
However, the capture twenty -two, so to speak, was that since its debut several years ago, Netflix, one of the best transmission services, has never been part of it. He made the experience a bit clumsy, and apparently it has been a point of conflict for streamer. It seemed that Netflix did not want you to easily return to squid games or any other Apple TV application title.
This morning (February 14), however, some Apple TV application users began to report that Netflix content was appearing in the Apple TV application, with the ability to return and continue looking. Finally it was an opening of the Netflix walled garden approach and a sign that maybe, just maybe, the tide was rotating.
It seemed a strange deployment for Netflix or Apple, since surprising this association would have been of journalistic interest. I would have been on the subject for Apple, since it is ready to celebrate a release on February 19, and this week it marked the launch of Powerbeats Pro 2 and the arrival of the Apple TV application on Android.

But it’s what we want
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg took X (previously Twitter) to add that Netflix would be unlikely to perform so many 180 degrees about integration and how few users were watching him live in the Apple TV application. He hinted that it could be an error or an error at some point, and that is where the bad news begins.
Now, Techradar can confirm that, according to a Netflix spokesman, this was an inadvertent integration that was not expected to happen and that only a small set of users saw it. In addition, Netflix has retraced since then, and streamer does not expect integration to become a complete feature in the future.
This occurs after Netflix made waves to increase prices once again at the end of January, a trend that I, for my part, want the transmission service to be reduced. It also increased the cost of their plans and promised to “invest in programming and offer more value for our members.” Integrating with the Apple TV application and making it more accessible and fluid to see content, whether new or resuming, it would have been only for me and apparently many other people.
Who knows, maybe this mistake will make Netflix come to the table and begin to join Apple at some point, although the cards seem stacked at the moment.
