
Islamabad: Act in the directives of the Ministry of Interior, the general director of the National Cyber Crime Research Agency (Nccia) has established a special team to combat hate speech in social networks during Muharram.
According to a statement, there will be a repression against hate material, erroneous information and incitement in social networks. Strict measures will be taken against those who disseminate hate discourse and religious struggle in social networks.

The NCCIA said that preventing incitement in social networks during Muharram will be its highest priority, and that legal measures will be taken against those found that are spreading hate.

Naqvi said that the application of the Code of Conduct during Muharram would be guaranteed and pointed out that processions and meetings would be monitored using modern technology.
