Spider-Man: New Day will hit theaters on July 31. And, with the first advance of spider man 4 Officially released tomorrow, March 18, now is the perfect time to find out who will appear in the film.
Below you’ll find a full list of actors confirmed to be part of the ensemble of the new Marvel movie. I’ll talk about who each will play (or who they could play, if their character’s identity hasn’t been publicly revealed) and where you may have seen them before.

Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
The first is a standout character who needs no introduction, but I’ll give him one anyway.
With six appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) under his belt, Holland will return as Parker and his super-powered alias. After his last departure in 2021 Spider-Man: No Way Homewhich was the complete reboot Spidey needed in the MCU, we will find that the eponymous character has returned to his friendly neighborhood heroic roots. However, everything else about the plot of this film is being kept under wraps.
Far from playing Spider-Man, Holland has appeared in Apple TV projects Cherry and The room full of peopleSony live action Unexplored cinema and other big screen productions such as The devil all the time, Forwardand Chaos walking. Next up for Holland is a supporting role in Christopher Nolan’s historical epic. The Odysseywhich comes out a week before new day.
Zendaya as Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones
MJ, Peter Parker’s love interest in his first three MCU solo films, is also in this Marvel Phase 6 film. Holland’s movie megastar Zendaya will return as the character, although it’s unclear what role she will have in it. new day.
With a sizable catalog of her own, Zendaya is another star that audiences will instantly recognize. In addition to appearing in spider man 4She will reprise her role as Rue in Euphoria season 3, which debuts on HBO Max on April 12 and co-stars in the film A24 the dramawhich opens in theaters on April 3. Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds

There have been many – and I mean one batch – of talks about his character’s identity since Sink joined the cast of spider man 4 Last March too. From iconic X-Men member Jean Gray and the monstrous entity Shathra, to a character linked to The Punisher (more on him shortly) and even another MJ in the form of Peter Parker’s former love interest Mary Jane Watson, no one knows who Sink plays. Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher
Last seen playing the fan-favorite antihero in Daredevil: Born AgainIn the first season, Bernthal’s The Punisher will finally make the jump to the big screen in spider man 4.
Speculation is rife that he will be charged with protecting the unnamed individual from Sink, so it will be interesting to see how he fits into new dayThe broader narrative.
After getting his big break in the AMC adaptation of The living deadBernthal is now best known for playing Castle in Netflix’s Defenders-Verse and, more recently, in the MCU. He also appeared in the hit Hulu comedy-drama series. the bear, The counter 2, American Gigolo, The Many Saints of Newarkand baby driver among many others. His last major role was in the Netflix thriller. For him and herand will appear alongside Holland in The Odyssey when it hits theaters on July 24. Sometime this year he will also star in a special MCU presentation of The Punisher on Disney+.
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Ruffalo, another Marvel veteran with numerous MCU appearances on his extensive resume, is expected to have a supporting role as Banner and his gamma-irradiated superpowered pseudonym. Once again, there is nothing official to report on the Avenger’s likely role in Spider-Man: New Daybut maybe we’ll have a clue or two soon.
Academy Award nominee Ruffalo is a household name who has appeared in a host of movies and television shows. Among that number are hit HBO TV originals. Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone
A report from September 2025 revealed that new dayThe first official villain will be Tombstone, and Jones III, also known as Krondon, has been confirmed to play the character. This is Jones III’s second time playing Tombstone, after voicing him in the 2018 animated offering. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
With spider man 4 With numerous villains, it is unclear which of them will be the Big Bad of the film. However, industry insiders suggest that Tombstone will be the main antagonist, so we’ll see if that’s the case when the first trailer drops.
Jones III won’t be a familiar face to everyone, but he has had roles in Paramount+’s live-action version of an iconic video game series. HaloThe C.W. black lightningand Lionsgate Shadow Force.
Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion
After his only appearance in the MCU (a brief cameo in Spider-Man: HomecomingMid-credits scene: Mando returns as one of Spidey’s most notorious enemies, Mac Gargan, aka Scorpion.
He was first rumored to be reprising his role as Gargan last May, but Mando confirmed his involvement via Instagram in late 2025. Then, in February, concept art for spider man 4 revealed that Scorpion would appear, although fans aren’t in love with his redesigned suit. Anyway, expect him to be on secondary villain duties.
Best known for playing Nacho in Better call SaulMando’s other jobs include orphan black, Ivory Kingand The Ramville Blues.
Tramell Tillman TBA
An actor who broke into the mainstream when he appeared on Apple TV Original RuptureTillman has reportedly been tapped for Spider-Man: New Day like another mysterious character.
There are rumors that he has been hired to play the Head of the Department of Damage Control (DoDC), also known as the US government-funded agency tasked with controlling superhumans. But, as always, we await more details, and the trailer could shed light on whether this will be the case.
Elsewhere, Tillman has starred in television projects. Dietlandia, Hit monkeyand godfather of harlem. More recently, it was seen in Mission: Impossible – The final reckoning.
Liza Colón-Zayas as TBC
Rounding spider man 4The confirmed cast is Colón-Zayas. Once again, there is no official information on the individual he will play, but gossip columns indicate that his character will be an ally of Spider-Man.
A performer who became best known after her lead supporting role in the bearColón-Zayas has also appeared in Law and order, in treatment, YEAH, The purge: election yearand Allwell in New York.
