In fact, its closest rival, which is (oddly enough) Squid GameThe debut season of simply can’t compete in terms of viewership, as Season 2 racked up four times as many broadcast minutes as its predecessor over the past seven days (December 31 to January 7). If this were a real version of the Battle Royale style games of the same name, Squid GameSophomore season would have already taken the prize money.
That said, Season 2 has a long way to go to become the most-watched non-English Netflix original series of all time.
