The Dallas Stars took an advantage of the 2-1 series over the Winnipeg Jets in the Stanley Cup playoffs on Sunday night after a controversial goal gave them a late advantage in game 3.
Alexander Petrovic scored with remaining 16:09 in the game. However, the goal was not easy to call. The NHL officials started a video review and saw the sequences for more than five minutes to determine if Petrovic kicked the album on the network.

Finally, the officials determined that the jet goalkeeper, Connor Hellebuyck, drove the album to his own network. The goal gave Dallas a 3-2 advantage at that time. The stars won the game, 5-2.
The Jet coach Scott Arniel disagreed with the interpretation of the rule officials that allowed Petrovic.
“The rule establishes that if the album is kicked, if it hits a body or a stick of someone other than the goalkeeper, he tells how an objective. He hit our goalkeeper’s stick and went to the network. That is not a goal,” Arniel said. “Then they said that Helly drove the album, and I haven’t seen the word driven in the rules book.”

The Stars coach, Peter should, said he was glad that officials took the time to review the play to “do it well.”
The album initially came out of a shot by Mikko Rantanen. Ricocotó Hellebuyck to his right and then to the Petrovic stake and back to the network.
“I saw him kicking it, but I didn’t see a repetition of that … I thought it was 50-50 probably, but thank God they called him a goal,” Rantanen said.
Petrovic, who scored in the playoffs for the first time in nine years, described him as a “lucky goal.”
NHL fans were not excited and expressed it so much in X.
Rantanen scored 49 seconds after the game resumed.
