Downtime can have knock-on effects on decentralized finance and other on-chain applications, including stalled exchanges, delayed withdrawals, and difficulties updating positions. It may also disrupt sequencer-based networks, where transaction ordering and block production depend on a smaller set of operators than Ethereum itself.
CoinDesk contacted the team for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
The price of its native token, STRK, has barely changed according to CoinMarketCap, with an increase of just 1.92% in the last 24 hours.
