Steph Curry Grizzlies storm with 12 triples in a yield of 52 points


Stephen Curry was dangerously close to establishing the 3-point record on Tuesday night when the Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 134-125.

Curry scored 52 points and made 12 triples in the contest. He added 10 rebounds, eight assists and five robberies too. He was three triples to establish the record of his former teammate, Klay Thompson, and a triple to tie his personal record.

Curry was held without a field goal, and the Warriors lost to the Grizzlies for 51 points in their last confrontation. He said he forgot about that game and was more concentrated in how big the game was when it was the image of playoffs.

“I was a bit excited about that,” Curry said about West’s passage. “It was special. In his memory. What meant for our organization, the league, to the world of basketball … That is the logo.”

Golden State will play the Los Angeles Lakers Thursday night. Memphis will face Miami Heat.
