But if you want an early Christmas gift, Netflix has released the official trailer for stranger things season 5, volume 2, to give you a look at what’s next for one of Netflix’s best shows.

What’s coming up for Stranger Things season 5?
stranger things Season 5, Volume 2 consists of three episodes, releasing simultaneously at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET. The grand finale, volume 3, arrives on New Year’s Eve at the same time.
As you can see in the trailer, a big storm is brewing, with the long-awaited (or feared?) return of Vecna, and some dramatic scenes that make references to the Upside Down with a very appropriate soundtrack too.
Most disturbing of all, the trailer may have hinted that two fan favorites could end up dead during the fifth and final season. Maybe I’m reading into things, but this show has given me some serious trust issues (fairness to Barb, honestly).
In it stranger things In the Season 5 Volume 2 trailer, we see Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) solemnly telling Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), “If you die, I die.” It could simply be a dramatic promise, or perhaps it’s hinting at something more sinister.
It looks like we’re about to learn a lot more about the Upside Down and its unwanted inhabitants, and we only have four more episodes left to see what happens to our favorite characters. I don’t know about you, but I feel nervous.
However, volume 2 begins on a high note, with The Shawshank RedemptionDirector Frank Darabont directs the first episode. Hopefully, he won’t break our hearts in the process.
