Stripe Taps Matt Huang of Paradigm to lead the new Tempo Blockchain: Fortuna

Stripe has appointed Matt Huang, co -founder and managing partner of the Risk Firm of Crypto Paradigm, as executive director of his next Blockchain tempo.

Huang, who already sits on the Stripe board, will retain his position in Paradigm. That is according to Fortune, citing familiar sources with the project.

The movement is aligned with a growing trend of developing blockchains centered on stablecoin. These include plasma, which recently attracted more than $ 373 million in a sale of token in excess subscription and a blockchain stable centered on the grain.

The Stablecoin sector, with a market capitalization of $ 270 billion, has been growing exponentially and was promoted by the recent Trump firm of the Genius Law. The law established a regulatory framework for the sector in the US.

Tempo is described as a “high performance layer 1, focused on payments” that will execute the code compatible with Ethereum. It is not clear when the block chain will be released, or if it will have your own token.

Huang, a former Sequoia partner, has helped Paradigm to administer $ 12.7 billion in assets and return projects, including Fireblocks of decentralized exchange infrastructure and cryptocurrency infrastructure.
