Security sources foiled a suicide attack on a field in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali district, killing at least four terrorists, the state broadcaster reported. pay television on Friday.
A militant drove a vehicle loaded with explosives into the perimeter wall of a security forces camp. Three others attempted to storm the compound on foot and were shot dead outside the camp in what security officials described as a “swift and decisive” response by troops.
Separately, security forces have killed 34 militants described as “Indian-backed terrorists” during multiple operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the past three days, the army’s media wing said in a statement on Thursday.

Fitna al-Khawarij is the state-imposed term for terrorists associated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), since the May 2025 war with India.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intelligence operations were carried out in North Waziristan, South Waziristan and Bannu districts.

The operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision, which aims to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
