T-Mobile increases its Starlink satellite service with support for more applications and telephones, but in silence it loses a benefit from Google Photos

T-Mobile has been offering Starlink connectivity to its customers for a few months, and the T-Satellite service gives you a way to contact people and connect to the Internet when mobile data are not available. It has just been updated to add satellite connectivity to a set of popular applications, which makes them more usable when you are out of the network and far from cell towers.

Publishing in his blog, T-Mobile announced that several applications will feel the benefits. That includes Alltrails, Accuweather, Celtopo, Google Maps, Onx, T-Life, WhatsApp and X. which expands the amount of applications that can take advantage of the satellite service, and those options join several native devices, such as Apple Music, Google Menses, Pixel Weather and more, which were already compatible.
