Islamabad:
The information minister, Attaullah Tarar, threatened legal actions against those who protested and direct social media campaigns against the visit of the head of the Army staff also (COAS) to the United Kingdom.
The official visit of General Munir marked his assistance to the 7th Regional Stabilization Conference at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, where he delivered the openness speech on “The emerging world order and the future perspective of Pakistan.”
The Regional Stabilization Conference is an annual platform that facilitates the army dialogue to the army between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, with the participation of those in charge of formulating civil and military policies, as well as the groups of key experts from both countries.
Tarar said that everyone recognizes the professional capacities of the Pakistan army, including its officers and cadets. However, it seems that the tribute and honor given to the Army Chief have unstable the “Tehreek-E-Inshar”.
“It is similar to how they are surprised by the progress of Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif,” he added.
He stressed that the law will take its course, and measures will be taken against those who damage the national interests of Pakistan.
Tarar declared that Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) is visibly disturbed by the recognition and respect granted to the Chief of the Army personnel (COAS) also during his visit to the United Kingdom in the prestigious Royal Sandhurst military academy.
During the visit, an honor guard was presented to the Army Chief, and the National Anthem of Pakistan was played by the Royal Band of Sandhurst, an event that, according to Tarar, raised even more the global position of Pakistan.
Speaking to the media, the minister said that the people of Pakistan had reaffirmed their respect for the country and their armed forces by rejecting PTI’s social networks against them.
“This same group of criminals also tried to interrupt the flow of remittances through social networks, but the Pakistani abroad, being responsible citizens, continued to support the country and express their loyalty,” he said.
Tarar accused the founder of PTI de Master Minding all anti-pakistan movements and working against national interests. He claimed that a group of criminals attacked the military facilities, burned Jinnah House in Lahore, and even desecrated memorials of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the security of Pakistan.
In addition, he said that there is evidence of video that demonstrates PTI’s participation in the incidents of May 9.
“When they tried to attack Pakistan’s defense, they were essentially fulfilling the enemy’s dream, an enemy who has never dared to attack Pakistan in this way,” he said.
Referring to the past statements of the founder of PTI, Tarar alleged that he facilitated the return of the terrorists to Pakistan.
“He openly supported the terrorists, as seen in his speeches in the international media, where he referred to them as” good people “and talked about bringing them back to resettle in Pakistan,” said the minister.
“Wouldn’t it be right to say that current terrorism problems come from the founder of PTI, which altered state policy to resettle these people?” Thalasty.
