Peete is in his third year with the Buccaneers. Previously he served as runner coach for the Dallas Cowboys (2007-12 and 2020-22), Los Angeles Rams (2016-19) and the then Raiders of Oakland (1998-2006).

Peete is the son of former NFL coach Willie Peete and the brother of former NFL Rodney Peete Field Marshal.
