Taraji P. Henson cleared the air over his rumored crack with Oprah Winfrey once again.
In a recent talk in The breakfast clubhe Hidden figures The actress opened about her relationship with the personality of the media.
Specculations on tension began after Henson, who played Shug Avery in the 2023 musical film The purple colorwhich was produced by Winfrey, spoke about salary inequality for black women in Hollywood.
The 53 -year -old actress revealed that there is no truth in the rumors of the dispute, and believed that they were destined to damage the success of the film.
“When have you seen me drag another woman, particularly a black woman? I am 10 fingers for us,” he said. “I think it was just a campaign for this black film not to work well.”
The Empire Alum also shared ideas about her and Winfrey’s strong link, since they generally exchange text messages.
“I have so much love and affection for her. She sent me a text message the other day, recommending me for a job well done in Straw,” Henson shared.
“That was all fictitious, to try to draw a wedge among us. I will not let them do that,” he added.
