- Apple has revealed the launch window for Ted Lasso season 4
- The popular program will land on the technology giant’s streaming service in mid-2026
- It will see the head soccer coach return to Richmond to coach his women’s team.
It’s time to start believing once again, friends, because Apple has confirmed it. Ted Lasso will return for its fourth season later this year.
The multi-award-winning sports drama, whose next installment is still filming (at least at the time of this publication), will debut on Apple TV sometime in mid-2026.
Apple confirmed this in a press release sent out today (January 28). And, with next season’s Premier League starting on August 22 and the 2026/27 Women’s Super League likely to start in September, launching Ted Lasso 4 between late August and early September would mark a title-winning return for the Jason Sudeikis-led program.

“In season four, Ted returns to Richmond and takes on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s soccer team,” the logline reads. “Throughout the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking risks they never thought they would.”
Joining Sudeikis’ eponymous character in the returning cast are Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Grant Feely as Henry Lasso and Annette Badland as Mae Green.
As for the newcomers, season 4 will introduce us to the characters played by Tanya Reynolds (Sex education), Jude Mack (Waiting for departure), Faye Marsey (Andor), Rex Hayes (The Covenant), Aisling Sharkey (Jurassic World: Dominion), and Abbie Hern (Peaky Blinders). However, the identities of their characters have not yet been revealed.
Ted Lasso Season 4 was officially announced in March 2025 after months of rumors that another installment was in the works. Four months later, Apple confirmed that filming was underway. Ted Lasso 4which ended up being the last update we received about the long-awaited next entry in the series.
