President Donald Trump will attend the final of the US Open male singles on Sunday afternoon after 10 years after he first launched a campaign for the first time for the White House.
According to reports, TV networks were told to transmit Trump’s arrival at the event in Flushing Meadows in New York City that abstained transmit any boo or cheers by him.

Rebanes, a tennis -centered substitute, reported for the first time that the US Tennis Association (USTA) sent the directive to the broadcasters.
“Regarding the transmission coverage, the president will be shown at the Feed World and the FEED of the Ashe Court during the opening anthem ceremony,” according to the reports, the message is read. “We ask all the speakers to refrain from displaying any interruption or reaction in response to the president’s assistance in any capacity, including Eng. [Electronic News Gathering] coverage.”
The USTA said that it regularly asks its stations to avoid showing interruptions outside the court.
The United States male final will take place between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. Sinner won the event last year, defeating Americans Taylor Fritz.

The final will take place in ESPN for spectators in the United States, ESPN planned to show and recognize Trump’s presence in the US Open and cover the game as usual.
Trump has been a spectator in the US Open several times in the past. He attended the event in September 2015 with his wife, Melania, months after he announced that he ran for president the first time. The photos showed John Mcenroe shaking Trump’s hand.
Trump has attended many sporting events, either in the campaign or in the White House. He was invited in multiple UFC fights in 2024. He also attended a game of the Pittsburgh Steelers while he was in the campaign.

The president will have a great sports week. It is scheduled to attend the New York Yankees game next week on the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11. He also wrote that he would attend the Ryder Cup at the end of the month.
