LAHORE:
The tensions between the Treasury and the opposition legislators in the Punjab assembly intensified after an alleged attack of an opposition MPA in a treasure member, and the assault of retaliation by the private guards of the Treasury legislators in MPA of the opposition.
When the chamber procedures began under the presidency of the interim president Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channer, both parties seemed united by calling it the darkest day, although each one framed the events differently. The treasure blamed the opposition attack, while the opposition indicated the assault of the private guards of Treasury legislators.
While the treasury banks called opposition actions as a continuation of May 9 incidents in the Punjab Assembly, the opposition also held the treasure responsible for creating chaos and panic through the use of private guards.
The deputy leader of the opposition, Muhammad Moeenudin Riaz, demanded that the interim Channer speaker immediately suspend Khalid Hassan Riaz de PMLN, registered a FIR against the private guards who attacked the opposition while using an abusive language, and suspend the Security Director of the Assembly for not avoiding the entry of the guards into the guards.
The Provincial Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman clarified that the MPA Hassan Riaz del Treuso was heading to the chair when opposition legislators began to make fun and then attacked him.

However, he admitted that the incident within the media hall should be investigated. But he quickly added that if a FIR was recorded against those who allegedly attacked the opposition, then a FIR must also be presented against the opposition that created an anarchy inside and outside the chambers of the Assembly.
In the guilt game, the opposition seemed to have a slight advantage over the treasure, building its case in the attack of private guards and the suspension of their MPa, Sheikh Imtiaz, for simply pointing out the quorum.
Although Treasury legislators repeatedly condemned the opposition legislator Khalid Nisar to tell Treasure Hassan Riaz and the supposed abusive language used by the Imtiaz Sheikh of the opposition when addressing the interim speaker Channer, the opposition argued that the problem was among the legislators. They questioned how individuals could be allowed to attack the MPA.
The opposition also rejected the claim that MPA Sheikh Imtiaz had used an abusive language. They said the fight began when Hassan Riaz de PMLN first used abusive language. However, the interim president, Channer, assured the Chamber that there would be strict punishment if the participation of any individual in the attack was proven.
The treasure legislator, Riaz, boycotted the camera’s procedures after Mian Ijaz Shafi of the opposition was nominated as a member of the Committee formed to investigate the attack of private members. He also demanded Shafi’s suspension, claiming that it was the real cause of the fight.

Meanwhile, the treasure legislator, Amina Persen, raised concerns about the delayed delivery of traffic Chalins. She declared that people were receiving obsolete chalins at home instead of arriving on time.
Minister Rehman recognized the issue, but said improvements were being made. “We have begun to send e-challans through WhatsApp and SMS to the correct addresses. There are many challenges, but will soon be resolved.”
Several resolutions were approved, including one presented by the opposition legislator Ahmar Rasheed Bhatti, paying tribute to the famous poet Punjabi, the late Tajamal Kaleem, along with a request to change the name of the Higher Secondary School of Government’s Children in Chonia in his honor.
After discussing the articles of the agenda, the house was postponed to meet again on July 30 at 2 pm.
