Terramaster has launched the F2-425, a new 2-Bay NAS device designed to replace the F2-210 and F2-212 previous of the company.
The system marks a change of ARM processors, instead, introduces an Intel X86 N5095 chip of four nuclei that offers up to 40 percent better.
With 4 GB of memory and a 2.5GBE port, the F2-425 offers support for coding and decoding 4K video and is designed to store and transmit multimedia files, while handling routine data backups.

It offers a capacity of up to 60 TB, distributed in two units of up to 30 TB each, sufficient for millions of documents or thousands of video hours.
Data safety features are integrated, with support for RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, single and traid/traid+. It offers 256 -bit TLS encryption, authentication of two factors and snapshots, as well as a security insulation mode to protect data against ransomware and other cyber threats.
