A terrorist attack on the Hasan Khel police station in Peshawar’s Mattani area was repelled early on Saturday and two terrorists were killed in retaliatory fire, police officials confirmed.
According Express NewsHeavily armed terrorists launched an attack on the police station using heavy weapons. An intense shootout took place between the attackers and law enforcement. Senior police officers described the situation as dangerous due to the use of heavy weapons by the attackers.

The police responded quickly and killed two terrorists in the exchange of fire. However, reports suggest that there may still be more terrorists present in the area, prompting security operations to continue.

In response to the attack, additional police reinforcements and elite force units were deployed to the scene. The capital city police officer (CCPO), Peshawar, confirmed that the exchange of fire was ongoing and all necessary measures were being taken to neutralize any remaining threat.
