Tesla presents Grok AI in some of his cars, but he can’t control the vehicle … still

  • The main software update presents the AI wizard in some vehicles
  • It is only available in models with AMD Ryzen hardware
  • Grok is currently limited in his skills

Tesla announced an important software update at the end of last week (2025.26, in case it was interested), which brings with it a large number of new lighting improvements, audio and board of board. However, perhaps the most notable is the introduction of Grok.

The creation of Elon Musk’s XAI company, Grok, is a generative artificial intelligence chatbot that can answer questions and maintain conversations, famous, presents a “deranged” mode that generally responds in a very jewel and not PC way.

Now, the AI assistant has been presented to some Tesla vehicles, although they are limited to US models with the premium connectivity package and are executed in AMD Ryzen hardware, with most of these manufactured from mid -2021 onwards.

At the moment, the software can connect to the web and answer generic questions of the driver or passenger, instead of taking care of the key functionality of the car, which would be, you know, quite useful. However, the old voice command system can still do this.
