Tether has announced that it will reduce the USDT in five less used blockchains after the use in these networks decreases.
Reditions and Token coined in the OMNI layer, the simple Bitcoin Cash, Kusama, Eos and Algorand Capa Protocol will stop on September 1, 2025. The remaining tokens must freeze the same day, according to a statement.

Tether has asked its customers to have USDT in the five networks to exchange their holdings as soon as possible or request the issuance of their tokens in a compatible block chain. Tokens headlines can migrate their tokens through bridges or blockchain exchanges.
The participation of the lion in the Fiat of $ 156 billion of Tether is currently circulating in Tron and Ethereum, which together represent more than 95% of the total. Solana is the only other network with more than 1% of USDT’s supply in circulation, according to RWA.XYZ data.
