Texas coach Steve Sarkisian denied the price of $ 40 million linked to the Longhorns.

Texas has advanced to the American football playoffs in the last two seasons. The Lonhorns lost 37-31 against Washington in the Playoffs 2023–24 semifinal.

After defeating Clemsson in the first round last season, Texas survived an extra double time thriller against Arizona State in the quarterfinals. But the Lonhorns could not overcome the state of Ohio in the semifinals.
“It has been a great race. However, I would like to have about another $ 15 million or so. We could have a better list,” Sarkisian said.
