The Tezgam Express, who travels from Karachi to Rawalpindi, derailed at Rohri station, with one of his bogies leaving the track.
Upon receiving the incident report, a crane was sent from the crazy shed to quickly restore the derailed Bogie on the track, said Express News.
Railway sources have confirmed that the accident has blocked the ascending route, causing damage to the rails. As a result, several trains have been delayed, unable to proceed to their destinations.
Bahauddin Zakariya Express has been arrested at Begamaji station, while Shah Hussain Express, Green Line Express and Fareed Express have stopped at different stations.
Railway officials have initiated an investigation into the accident and repair work is underway to restore the road and resume trains services as soon as possible.
Last month, Shalimar Express, who was traveling from Lahore to Karachi, derailed near the Shahdara area of Lahore Discrt de Punjab.
The derailment, which took place near the city of Barkat, avoided little important catastrophe, a local news channel reported.
The train, instead of falling into a populated area, stuck in the middle of a bridge, avoiding more damage.
