- Adobe adds new AI tools to express
- The thrust to the video continues
- Clip Maker is going to save the creators for so long
Adobe has presented a flow of new incorporations for Adobe Express that, in my opinion, make it a clear application in the arsenal of the seller and creator.
There have been many updates for Adobe Stalwarts Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator, infused with more Firefly than what you will know what to do (see our summary of the 5 new tools of Photoshop, Firefly and Premiere Pro that were announced in Adobe Max London 2025)
But Adobe Express has also received some extra love this year, and a lot of new AI tools. In Adobe Max London this year, I had the opportunity to see a demonstration for some of these, and I am really beginning to see the growth here from its original role as a simple online designer, not one million miles away from Canva, to a new approach both in design and moving. It seems that we will have to update our adobe express review after all this.
What is new in Adobe Express?
In the new tools, Govind Balakrishnan, SVP and General Manager, Adobe Express, said: “We are excited to introduce new video and animation capabilities with AI to be even easier for people to stand out and break their brands.”
Here are the outstanding additions that will arrive in Express.
1. Convert the videos long in short content
This is my new favorite addition in Express. You can now reduce long videos with practically click a button with Maker clip. This update will be a serious time savings if you create content long for platforms such as YouTube or are executing web seminars and presentations, and you want to splices it for the tastes of reel, Tiktok or shorts. During my demonstration, I looked for a one -hour video in pieces of approximately ten minutes that can be edited more.
2. Create new images of the existing ones
Generate similar, allows you to select existing images and, with a small application, create new images that maintain the same appearance and sensation. It worked very well during my demonstration, where a very stylized image of a rose was used as a starting point, and using Firefly, a similar image of a tulip was generated. The color, style and framing were carried out, as if the work were for a single ‘artist’. It is not a game change in any way, but it will help users to stay in the brand quickly create a library of images that are well together.
3. Converts fixed images into striking animations
Adobe Express bread and butter is a simple graphic design, but this is a really pleasant addition. Now you can encourage sections of a static image, for example, add bright stars, make your text appear or let the objects move on the screen. I did not find it as high power as you will see in more advanced adobe applications, but if you are looking for more attractive content for your social platforms, this is a good touch. For more image tools, although I did not have the opportunity to see them in action, it now has access to more than 30 new filters fueled by Photoshop just inside Express.
4. More generation of ia videos
You cannot pass ten seconds without AI being inserted in the workflow, but I think most users will be welcome. You can now generate commercially safe videos in Express. They told me that all the funds and B -rol viewed in the demonstration were created in this way, and they seemed quite well.
5. Improve audio with improved speech
If you use other creative cloud applications, you can be familiar with improve Speech, it is already part of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Podcast. Indeed, this tool uses AI (of course) to clean the sounds. So, if you record in an echo room or there is a small background talk in the office, this tool will eliminate the unwanted audio and standardize noise levels.
6. Better, faster subtitles
Another new tool is automatic subtitles. Now, there is nothing especially new in this tool, but it is new to express, and I discovered that this was quite fast. In addition to this, users now have more control over how these subtitles appear. Useful if you have brand colors and styles that you want to apply.
7. Record and add it to the canvas
I didn’t expect this, but now you can self -record videos and add them to Express. According to Adobe, this is built for “tutorials, podcast videos, reels and more.” In the demonstration, I liked how you can place the video anywhere on the canvas and change its size to meet your needs. You will find this type of webcam capture tools in the best screen recording software, but this seems to combine self -spelling videos with existing designs.
