American tennis professionals were bounced early from Wimbledon This year, with several best classified players in the first and second round of the tournament in the historic All England Club this week.
Frances Tiafoe, the male player of the 12th sown, left Grand Slam after losing a hard battle against Cam Norrie in the second round on Wednesday. The British tennis The player, who entered the seedless tournament, advanced to the third round after a 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory.

But Tiafoe was not the only American who suffered a surprising defeat.

“I was definitely fighting in the locker room. I don’t like losing,” said the current champion of the France Open, after losing his game in straight sets against a Dayana Yastremska not sown on Tuesday. “The main thing I am sure that my team and everyone will tell me (it): ‘You did well in Roland-Garros. You are not so annoying.’ Things like that.”

The three -time Grand Slam finalist and seed No. 3, Alexander Zverev, lost his first round of Arthur Rinderknech, classified by 72, in five sets.
The sown No. 7 Lorenzo Musetti was sent to pack by Nikoloz Basilashvili in the first round, and the main finalists Zheng Qinwen, seed number 5, and Karolina Muchva, seed number 15, also left after their first games.
