The head of the Army personnel (COA), the general also praised the role of the Pakistani media during the recent Pakistan-Indian conflict, describing it as pride and describing the response of the media to the Indian points of sale as memorable, said Express News.

Talk informally to journalists at an event held in Islamabad to mark Yom-e-tashakur (The day of gratitude), Coas Munir said that the media had been a pride in the nation, highlighting that nothing was hidden and that the complete truth was shared with the public.

He praised the outstanding role of the media throughout the conflict, saying that the way in which the Pakistani media responded to the Indian media was remarkable and responsible, and expressed pride in their performance.

Celebrating the successful ones of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and Marka-E-HAQ, General Munir also declared that the entire nation was united to face the enemy.

During the conflict, several Indian media, fed by a rhetoric driven by war, transmit unsecured and false claims.

These included accusations of an Indian attack that destroyed the port of Karachi, plans to capture Islamabad and affirms that Pakistan’s prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, would give up, all spread by the well -known Indian media and journalists of good reputation, but finally proven false.

In contrast, the Pakistani media remained calm and showed restriction, depending mainly on public relations information between services and the information department when transmitting.
