Field Marshal Syed also said that Pakistan’s army remains completely alert and is prepared to respond decisively to any threat and reiterates that peace in Baluchistan is not negotiable and that Pakistan’s future is directly linked to a stable and prosperous baluchistan.

While interacting with the tribal elders during a great Jirga in the Zehri Auditorium in Quetta, the head of the Army staff praised the courage and resistance of the security forces and the police personnel operating in Baluchistan, a statement issued by the office of the Prime Minister on Sunday.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Munir Marshal were jointly addressed to the Jirga, which was organized to interact with tribal leadership and discuss the evolutionary security situation in Baluchistan, with a particular approach to the current proxy war driven by India.

“This proxy war sponsored by India is no longer hidden, it is an open malicious act of freed terrorism in our people, our progress and our peace. We have concrete evidence of the hand of India behind the terrorist networks that operate in Baluchistan,” said the Munir Field Marshal.

“These dire enemy attempts will fail. Pakistan’s army, with the unwavering support of the nation and the brave people of Baloch, will confront and crush all enemies, foreigners or domestic, who dares to challenge our sovereignty.”

On the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed that the representatives sponsored by the Indians operating in Baluchistan had intensified their efforts to undermine peace, destabilize the province and interrupt the development initiatives led by the Government and the Armed Forces.

He said that terrorist groups such as Fitna al-Hindustan sought the support of the locals who must be denied to them. He emphasized the need to participate in the base level and ensuring that terrorists would not find social space.

Praising the leadership and constructive role of the elderly, Shehbaz reiterated that denying the social space to the terrorists was crucial for the success of the anti -terrorist efforts and for the peace and long -term stability. He promised that the enemies of peace would not find space to operate within Pakistan.

“Our message for them is clear: the government, the armed forces, the reads and the administrative apparatus”, with the full support of the people, would bring the fight against terrorism to their logical conclusion and would defeat terrorism in a decisive way.

Highlighting a series of monumental development packages for prosperity in Baluchistan, the prime minister emphasized the need to ensure that people at the base level benefit from government initiatives.

He praised the people of Baluchistan for his historical role in the safeguarding of the National Unity and urged them to remain attentive to subversion and sabotage of boddes orchestrated and sponsored by India.

Prime Minister Shehbaz and the Munir Marshal praised the courage and resilience of security forces and the leas that operate in Baluchistan. Shehbaz assured Shuhada families of full cooperation and support, and promised that terrorists, their absensors and facilitators would not be saved.

The Jirga concluded with a unanimous promise of tribal elders to stop shoulder shoulder with the Pakistan government and the armed forces, reaffirming their commitment to the security, stability and development of Baluchistan, according to the statement.

Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz visited the University of Command and personnel in Quetta and addressed students and professors of the University. His direction reflected the government’s commitment to strengthen Pakistan’s defense institutions in the midst of regional and internal security dynamics.

Shehbaz stressed the importance of professional excellence, operational preparation and strategic forecast against emerging and hybrid threats, especially in sensitive regions such as Baluchistan, where Indian sponsored proxies point “to our people and aim to interrupt our progress and prosperity.”
