The New York Mets won their confrontation on Thursday afternoon against the rival of the East Division of the National League, Washington Nationals. While the 4-3 victory was the sixth consecutive victory of the Mets, the game was tarnished so it seemed to be a serious injury for one of its key players.
The starting launcher Kodai Senga registered one at the sixth entrance, but left the game after suffering an apparent injury.
Senga seemed to have problems with his right leg after he ran to cover the first base on a ground ball hit by the Washington campocort, CJ Abrams.

The corridor was discarded, but Senga fell to his knees in dirty territory after the play.

The METS had a 4-0 advantage over the national visitors when Songa went to the bench. He had allowed only a hit when he left Matinée baseball.
Senga won the victory on Thursday to improve his record at 7-3. Its effectiveness of 1.47 occupies second place in the largest.
