The legends of Kiss Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons considered the co -founder of Beach Boys as a “genius” and a “visionary.”
Taking his official X, previously Twitter, Paul and Gene wrote: “Unfortunately, Brian Wilson died. Companion, Visionary. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful melodies that covered decades. I will spend the day listening to the Beach Boys and reminiscent.”
The Beatles icons, Sir Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney also remembered Brian Wilson as an artist who was “painfully special.”
Sharing a photo of Brian, Ringo wrote on his Instagram: “God bless Brian Wilson. Peace and love for his whole family.”
While Sir Paul McCartney called Beach Boys’ star as someone who “had that mysterious sense of musical genius that made his songs so painfully special. He loved him and had the privilege of being close to his brilliant bright light for a while.”
“The notes he heard in his head and it happened to us were simple and brilliant at the same time. How we will continue without Brian Wilson, God only knows it. Thank you, Brian,” he added.
Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards simply wrote “Rest in peace!” While Ronnie Wood said her “world is in mourning”, noting that Sly Stone and Brian Wilson died this week.
