The best of the week: everything is happening!

It was a great week for Crypt after the inauguration of Donald Trump to a second term on Monday.

The White House issued an executive order on digital assets, asking for a friendly approach to cryptography throughout the administration and the creation of a “digital asset reserve” (which may or may not be, a strategic bitcoin reserve). The Nik and Jesse Hamilton regulatory editors were in all the news, as usual.

The SEC withdrew a controversial cryptographic accounting rule, a cryptographic working group headed by Hester Peirce (also known as “Crypto Mom”) began, and called Crypto-Friendly Mark Uyeda commissioner as interim president.

Senator Cynthia Lummis, possibly Crypto’s most loyal friend in Congress, was appointed to head the new digital asset panel of the Senate Banking Committee, Hamilton also reported.

We dissect the consequences of the controversial memecoins withdrawn by the Trump family on the eve of Monday’s sworn. Shaurya Malwa de Coindesk reported that 60 Solana whales were made with at least $ 10 million each (many others won much less). The Tom Carreras report showed on Monday that the richness of the paper generated by these surprise sheets was frankly, amazing, even absurd.

Even so, the memecoins were a great success, encouraging the presentations for the ETFs of Memecoin, Helene Braun reported. Helene also divided the story on how CME leaked information about XRP and ETF of Sol Futures by mistake, which sank those chips and weighed in the market in general.

Ross Ulbricht, who created Silk Road about 12 years ago, educating thousands in Bitcoin for the first time, was released after ten years in prison. His freedom was a key promise of Trump’s team in Crypto. Sam Reynolds had the news.

And the news continued arriving. In fact, it was difficult to remember a week when more importance happened in cryptography. In the midst of everything, the Ethereum community discussed its future (particularly that of the Ethereum Foundation). Parikshit Mishra and Sam Kessler followed the story.

Are attentive for more big things to happen next week.
