- TCL has announced the QM7K, a series of televisions led by MINI of medium range
- The QM7K series is available in the USA in screen sizes from 55 to 115 inches
- QM7K series televisions have a 2.2 built -in Bang & Olufsen speaker system
TCL had a relatively low presence in the recent CES 2025, announcing only a series of new televisions, the QM6K with economic price. The company promised that more television news would be presented in a “deployment of the phase series”, and today it was good in that promise with the announcement of mini-dried televisions by the QM7K series.
The new average range sets of the TCL range in size from 55 inches to a gigantic 115 inches, with prices that begin at $ 1,299.99 for the 55 -inch model and $ 19,999.99 for the 115 -inch giant.
TCL QM7K series televisions have a high -energy mini mini chips design that the company claims will increase the brightness by 53% and light efficiency by 10%. In addition, they have a new halo control system with a condensed micro super super super lens to minimize light flowering artifacts, along with a new Crystglow HVA panel with anti -reflecting properties. TCL is claiming up to 3,000 maximum brightness nutes for new televisions, which provide up to 2,800 local attenuation zones.
The QM7K series video features include Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+and HDR10 dynamic range, along with a IMAX filmmakers and improved IMAX certification.
A 2.2 built -in Bang & Olufsen speakers system offers a Dolby Atmos sound, and the Google TV is on board to transmit with a distant field microphone for voice control.
The games are also well compatible with the QM7K series televisions, with 4K 144Hz for PC Gaming, AMD Freesync and a 1080p 288Hz VRR game accelerator function.
QM7K series: The best TV TV value?
According to TCL, the TCL QM7 of 2024 “was the biggest star in our portfolio last year, with some of the best -selling sku in the United States”
Techradar did not review a QM7 series model, but the TCL QM851G Step-Up series landed in our list of the best televisions in 2024. Watching the specifications of the QM7K series, they are very similar to the QM851G last year, which was the brightest TV we have tested, exceed of 3,583 nit (in vivid image mode).
The TCL game characteristics have listed for the new QM7K are also similar to what was provided in the QM851G, and the new TCL Halo control system with a micro -condensed micro super -micro lens, and 2,800 local attenuation areas, promises to offer black light flowering blacks and background when watching movies and television programs with dark content.
The Bang & Olufsen sound system of 2.2 channels incorporated from QM7K is also notable. The powerful speakers designed by Onkyo of 2.1.2 channels of QM851G worked well in our tests. And although Onkyo has a deserved reputation for sound quality, Bang & Olufsen is a premium brand that has been responsible for some avant -garde TV designs that combine an OLED panel with incorporated and external wireless speakers.
We hope to have our hands in a QM7K model soon to test. The prices for new televisions, which, except the 98 and 115 -inch models, are now available, are significantly lower than what QM851G initially listed. If the QM7K series can even address the performance of the QM851G series, it should be an exceptional value.
