The Bills star, Dion Dawkins, says there should be a ‘protector of the year’ award for offensive linens


The offensive Tackle of Buffalo Bills, Dion Dawkins, wants offensive linens to begin to obtain some recognition.

At the university level, offensive linens are recognized with numerous different awards.

The Lombardi award is awarded to the best university football liner of the year, wing or supporter. This season, Texas Larchorn Kelvin Banks Jr.

The outland trophy is delivered to the best inner liner on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Banks also won that award this season.
