The leaders of the Dawoodi Bohra community representing their holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, gave a condolence call on their highness, Prince Rahim al-Hussaini Aga Khan V, in Lisbon, about the sad disappearance of his father, his highness, the Prince Karim Aga Khan IV.
Mr. Sultan Ali Ali, AKDN representative, received the delegation presented to him by lawyer Mehmood Yusuf Mandviwalla. The delegation comprised Shahzada Ammar Jamaluddin, brother of his holiness, Shahzada Mehlam Yunus and Barríster Mehmood Yusuf Mandviwalo.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Community of Ismaili comprising Mr. Sultan Ali Ali also were present. A letter of condolence of Syedna was praised to Prince Rahim, in which visionary leadership and tireless efforts of his father were praised, promoting education, health and social welfare.
In addition, Syedna also recalled how the Dawoodi Bohra and Ismaili community shared the ancestry and the deep commitment to defend the value and legacies of the fatimis magnets.
The Syedna also recalled the deep link between the communities that expanded throughout the generations since the time of their Holiness Syedna Tahir Saifuddin and Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin.
The Dawoodi Bohra community remains in solidarity with the Ismaili community in this moment of pain and offers its deepest sympathy and support.
The Syedna also transmitted its prayers to Prince Rahim for his adhesion as Aga Khan V and carrying out the spiritual legacies of his ancestors.
