Islamabad/Bannu:
A bomb exploded at the main door of the ancestral residence of member of the National Assembly (MNA) and special assistant of the Prime Minister, Mubarak Zeb, in the district of Bajaur, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement about his official X account on Wednesday, Zeb said the explosion addressed him and his family, confirming that no one was injured.
He condemned the incident as a cowardly act and firmly declared that no one could demoralize it with these tactics.
“The main door of my house was flown with a bomb,” he added.
Meanwhile, two terrorists were killed in an intense fire exchange with agencies for the application of the law in the jurisdiction of the Miryan Police Station, Bannu. A police officer was also injured during the operation.
According to the details, the security forces launched a rapid operation after intelligence on the presence of terrorists in the area. On the instructions of RPO Bannu, a heavy police contingent was sent to the scene.
