Eric Kripke, the creator of the boysteases fans about the show’s final season on social media.
In his Instagram post, he first praises the overwhelming response from the show’s fans. “First, thanks for watching and loving @genv (and if you haven’t seen it yet, what the fuck are you waiting for? Stop Doom Scrolling and watch!)
In the last part of the post, he writes about how much progress has been made in the last season.
“Secondly, we are working hard to finish the final season of @theboystv. Here we are today with me and part of the visual effects team,” says the filmmaker.
He continues: “The editing is done, we’re about halfway done with VFX, Music and Color. I’m really happy with how it’s going and I can’t wait for you to see it. We’re out with a bang. COMING SOON (reasonably) SOON. #GenV #TheBoys.”
Although no specific release date has been announced, the final season of the boys It is expected in 2026.
