The British Council Pakistan has announced that all the exams scheduled for today will continue as planned, despite the main military tensions between Pakistan and India.

In an official statement published on its Facebook page, the organization said: “All exams scheduled for today will proceed as planned. We will keep it updated if there is any change.”

Students were advised to contact their respective schools, or the Customer Services Center in case of private candidates, for any consultation related to the exam.

This announcement occurs in the middle of a volatile situation along the control line (LOC), where military actions between Pakistan and India have intensified.

The climbing followed the attacks of India in multiple places in Pakistan, according to reports, in response to the murder of more than two dozen tourists in illegally occupied Indians Jammu and Kashmira (Iiojk).

India blamed Pakistan for the incident, a claim that Islamabad has denied vehemence.

In retaliation, Pakistan’s army knocked up five Indian combat aircraft and a combat drone in response to unprovoked aggression and airspace violations.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed Wednesday that 26 civilians were martyred and another 46 injured in Indian air attacks during the night aimed at multiple civil areas throughout Pakistan.

Previously, Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz declared an emergency state throughout the province and ordered the closure of all educational institutions after a series of attacks by Indian missiles that attacked civil areas, which caused a rapid military response from Pakistan.
