Myles Garrett wants to leave Cleveland.
The defensive player of the year of AP 2023 and four times All-Pro issued a public statement on Monday, requesting an exchange of the Browns, the organization that took it first in general in the 2017 NFL draft and saw it become one of most dreaded edge corridors.
Garrett cited the “desire to win” in his statement, which implies that the Browns will not give him the best opportunity to fulfill his dream of the Super Bowl before his 30 -year -old season.

“As a child dreaming of the NFL, everything I concentrated was the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl, and that goal feeds me more than ever. My love for the community of the Northeast of Ohio and the incredible fans base From the Cleveland Browns I did this one of the most difficult decisions of my life.
“While I loved to call this city my home, my desire to win and compete in the biggest stages will not allow me to be complacent. The goal was never to go from Cleveland to Canton, it has always been to compete and win a Super Bowl.
“With that in mind, I have requested that they change my Cleveland Browns.”
