The debate on the budget proposed by Pakistan for the next fiscal year in the National Assembly intensified on Tuesday when tensions exploded among the MQM members of the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP) and (Muttahida Movement Qaumi).

Shazia Marri of PPP, in his speech, criticized the government’s failure to announce minimum wages for workers and requested a reasonable increase in government wages.

His speech took an unexpected turn when a heated exchange between the members of PPP and MQM broke out, increasing tensions in the assembly.

While Shazia emphasized the importance of Karachi being an integral part of Sindh, soya ishaq of MQM approached the members of the PPP, which led to an intervention by ASEEFA Bhutto, Sahar Kamran and others.

This led to a tense exchange of hard words between both parties. Javed Hanif commented: “You have abandoned Karachi, and now we threaten us.”

Meanhile Shazia also condemned Israeli attacks against Iran, as well as Israel’s aggression against Palestinian and Indian actions. He also praised the Iranian Parliament for expressing gratitude to Pakistan.

He highlighted the decision of the prime minister to send a delegation abroad, directed by Bilawal Bhutto. He praised Bilawal Bhutto for effectively representing Pakistan on the world stage, stating: “Bilawal Bhutto has fought against the case of Pakistan everywhere, and his success is our success. Bilawal has proudly made us proud.”

Shazia Marri also criticized the Government for not addressing the increase in inflation and not announcing a minimum salary in the budget. She acknowledged that PPP had raised wages, but pointed out the government’s internal divisions on the budget. He firmly opposed the 18% tax in the solar panels, calling it unacceptable and stating that PPP does not support it.

Finally, she commented on the performance of the opposition government, saying: “All have witnessed the government of this opposition. You have taken the most loans in history.”

Mian Khan Bugti, belonging to the Pakistan Muslims League – Nawaz (PML -N) praised the Government for assigning RS 250 billion for the development of Baluchistan, highlighting the focus on vital connectivity projects in the province.

Syed Amin-uque-taque pointed out positive economic indicators, such as a reduction in inflation and growth in foreign exchange reserves and bougps. He pointed out that global financial institutions are recognizing the country’s economic recovery.

Shahida Begum raised concerns about the insufficiency of the budget for education and medical care, urging the Government to increase the assignments of these sectors to 4% of GDP.

Ibrar Ahmed, in his speech, declared that the budget was friendly with people, stating that he describes a vision for national development.

The engineer Amir Muqam, Minister of Cashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, highlighted the relief provided to employees and the public in the budget.

The president of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), BarrĂ­mor Gohar Ali Khan, emphasized the need for innovative solutions to help persons and proposals tax exemptions for employees who earn up to RS 2.2 million annually.

Syed Hussain Tariq emphasized the importance of supporting the agricultural sector to guarantee food security for the country.

Other members also shared their prospects on the budget. Mian Khan Bugti praised the assignment of RS 250 billion for the development of Baluchistan, with an focus on essential connectivity projects in the province.
