Rawalpindi:
A temporary closure of the airspace at Islamabad airport resulted in unexpected interruptions in Friday’s flight schedule, which caused minor delays for passengers at Islamabad International Airport.
According to the details provided by the Federal Research Agency spokesman (FIA), the FIA Immigration Section successfully prosecuted the immigration of 2,847 passengers in three hours, thanks to the rapid and effective measures.
The 14 counters in the Immigration Departure section of the FIA remained completely operational, and a total of 12 international flights left for several destinations during the same three -hour window on Friday.
The spokesman also pointed out that sudden reproduction led to an unusually high number of passengers that departed simultaneously.
However, the Immigration of the FIA made all the projections and authorizations to fully comply with the established protocols and regulations. The department reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to offer efficient, rapid and high quality services to all travelers at all times.
