Cleveland Browns’ rookie seafood competition increased on Saturday.
After the team took Dillon Gabriel in the Third Round and Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round of the NFL Draft in April, the coaches have been able to see how each one looks in the game’s action.

But Gabriel injected an online conversation into the competition with a comment during his first preseason game on Saturday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“There are artists and competitors. And I understand it totally, and my work is to compete. And that is what I am focused on,” Gabriel said.
After the game, Gabriel told journalists that he referred to media members as artists.
“All of you in this room are artists,” Gabriel said. “You have a job to do, and I respect it. Right? And I am a competitor, so I also have a job to do.”

The NFL published the clip of Gabriel’s original event without including the question that was asked. Alber Breer of Sports Illustrated said in an X post that the question was about how the Browns field marshals are “trying to ensure that external noise does not infiltrate what is happening internally.”
The images of Gabriel’s appointments, without the question, circulated through social networks with many critics, assuming that the field marshal was shooting Sanders, known for his high -visibility public personality, the immense attention of the media and his reputation of the father of the fame of the NFL Deion Sanders.
Gabriel finished his preseason debut completing 13 of 18 passes for 143 yards without touchdowns and an interception. Gabriel turned the ball for the second time when he lost a bad condition.

In comparison, Sanders ended with 138 yards, two touchdowns and without ball losses in his preseason debut on August 8 against the Carolina Panthers.
Gabriel appears ahead of Sanders in the depth table of the Browns. The veteran Joe Flacco appears as the headline with the young veteran Kenny Pickett as the first backup. Gabriel appears in third place, while Sanders is the fourth and last quarterback in the depth table.
