Lehfeldt’s initial photo seemed to show him that he held a middle finger before an audience in front of Congress legislators to keep men out of women’s sports. The photo showed his other finger trimmed in the photo.

USA Fencing shared the complete photo of “Uncropped” by Lehfeldt with Pak Gazette Digital. The Independent Women’s Sports Council (icons) did not seem to cut the photo.
The audience arrives weeks after the Stephanie Turner Esfrina knelt in protest of a transgender opponent in an event. He tried indignation against the organization, and led Turner to move away from the sport completely.
The organization said last month that it was preparing to amend their current policies that allow biological men to compete with women and girls in case they are “forced” to change them.
“In the event that the Fencing of the United States is forced to change its current position in accordance with the supervision organisms or federal legislation, the new policy establishes that the athletes that compete in the tournaments sanctioned by near the US. UU. They must compete according to their biological sex,” reads the announcement.

The updated proposal policy ensures that the category of women “is open exclusively to female athletes.” The male category “will be open to all other athletes that are otherwise eligible for competition.”
The change would come into force in the levels of competence sanctioned, including division I, IA, II, III, Junior, Cadet, Youth, Veterans and all other categories.
“If adopted, this policy is only to guarantee the future compliance required by supervision organizations. This policy does not reflect any change in our strong support for the right to identity of each individual,” reads the announcement.
“We recognize that many people, particularly transgender and non -binary athletes and their supporters in fencing clubs throughout the country, will be deeply affected if this policy enters into force.”
