Islamabad: A district court and sessions in Islamabad has extended the physical return of Hasan Zahid for three more days in the kidnapping of Samiya Hijab and threats.
The suspect was produced before the Azhar Nadeem service magistrate after completing his five -day initial physical prison.
During the procedure, the defense lawyer argued that the Court must first review the previous remumption order and asked the Police to explain what investigations had been carried out during the previous preventive detention period.
The Court was presented with the history of transactions between Zahid and the personality of social networks Samiya, as well as a video statement of women’s parents. The defense lawyer also informed the court that the two were committed and presented his commitment photographs.
The prosecutor, on the other hand, said that RS45,000 had been recovered from the suspect. He added that the vehicle, weapons and Zahid’s accomplices have not yet recovered, and requested an extension of eight days in physical prison to pursue these potential clients.
The defense argued that Zahid had already secured the bond in one case, but was deliberately arrested in another.
After listening to arguments, the court approved a three -day extension of Zahid’s physical return instead of the eight days requested by the Prosecutor’s Office.
The influence of social networks based in Islamabad had alleged earlier this week that Zahid, with whom he had been in a relationship, had been harassing her for months with threats and demands to marry him.
In a video posted on Instagram, where she has a follow -up of almost 850,000, she said she appeared outside her residence, grabbed her phone and tried to force her to her car.
“My mother was sick, my brother was not at home. When I left, he snatched my mobile, sat in her car and also forced me to enter,” said Samiya, who is also a popular face on Tiktok.
After kidnapping attempt, the police recorded a case, and security personnel have also been deployed outside their home to protect themselves.
