Micah Parsons watched from the bank on Wednesday while the Dallas Cowboys went through a padded practice in Oxnard, California.
But as the team prepares to return to Texas, the Parsons contract is still a problem.
While Parsons was close to the former owner of the Cowboys and General Manager Jerry Jones on Thursday, the conversations between the representatives of Parsons and the main office of the team have not progressed.
Last week, Jones said he had not talked to the Star passes corridor since his request to be changed to another team was made public.

Jones made it clear that he does not intend to change the All-Pro Edge Rusher. On Wednesday, Parsons were asked to share an update on where the contract extension negotiations were.
“My mouth is closed,” Parsons told reporters, according to athletics.

Parsons lost four games last season, but the year still ended with 12 catches. Has registered two -digit captures in each of its four seasons in The NFL.

As is currently, Parsons will enter the regular season 2025 in the last year of his rookie agreement. Parsons is looking for a new contract during a summer in which other star passengers runners, such as Myles Garrett and TJ Watt, obtained lucrative extensions from their respective teams.
