The co -founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Bugerin, expressed his disappointment with some members of the ETH community and thought it was “bad” that the ecosystem was too cozy for the “casinos.”
During an Ask-Me-Aything (AMA) in Tako, Buterin answered a question about whether he had felt disappointed with the Ethereum Foundation, the cryptographic industry or the community. He responded “of course”, especially when others question why Ethereum has not been more open to applications with blockchain games, apparently taking a blow to his competitor, Solana, and how his ecosystem has adopted a great memecoin activity during the last year.
Bugerin’s comment occurs when the Ethereum community has faced a violent reaction from the members who raise the alarm that the chain will lose its competitive advantage against the rivals if it does not address some central problems, while Solana has attracted more New developers that Ethereum and has hunted the best talents.
Buterin also said that if the community continues with this “moral investment”, it would no longer participate in the Ethereum ecosystem.
