The Liv Golf star, Phil Mickelson, has been among the best sports figures to talk about the murder of the influential conservative Charlie Kirk.
Kirk, 31, was shot dead while talking at an event at Utah Valley University in OREM, Utah. The shooting caused a 33 -hour human hunt and led to Tyler Robinson’s arrest in relation to the incident on Friday. Mickelson seemed to be closely watching the rhetoric that has been used in the days after Kirk’s murder.

“The murder of Charlie Kirk is bringing some of the best in humanity to light and is also exposing some of the worst,” he wrote in X in response to a statement from the President of the Oxford Union. “Unification, love, support and protest in your name worldwide is moving.
“The number of people who support the terrible behavior of Tyler Robinson have opened my eyes to the side of extremism with a complex of moral superiority that has also shaken my belief in people in general. I hope they are responsible for their disgusting rhetoric.”

Mickelson also shared a publication with one of Kirk’s debates. The talk with another student introduced Kirk closing a man of university age and his “hatred” for billionaires such as President Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
