The Senate Parliamentary Affairs Committee discussed the viability and implementation of electronic voting systems, particularly for Pakistani abroad, focusing on guaranteeing accessibility, security and electoral integrity.
The meeting, chaired by Senator Dr. Mohammad Humayun Mohmand, stressed the importance of facilitating the participation of foreign citizens in the democratic process without compromising the transparency and reliability of the elections.
The discussion also included a comparative analysis of the existing first -step electoral system (FPTP).
