
Ron Howard assumed a great risk of crime thriller Eden.
The Oscar winning director was out of his comfort zone. Howard is known for its biographical dramas as Apollo 13 (1995), Frost/Nixon (2008), and A beautiful mind (2001).
But Eden He was inspired by a real story and the director thought about doing so 15 years ago during a vacation in the Galapagos Islands.
“This film was a great creative risk,” he said Page six In a projection of the film society. “I was out of my comfort zone.”
He pointed out that most of his films are “celebrating”, while this Eden is a “warning story.”
“It is a true crime thriller and I am very proud of it,” he said.
The film stars Jude Law, Sydney Sweeney, Ana de Armas and Daniel Bruhl in main roles. The story follows the group that are expatriates European that are installed in Florana, part of the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador.

Remembering how he obtained the inspiration for the film, Howard said: “We went to the Galapagos Museum, and an entire room was dedicated to this true crime thriller, and the story was very fascinating.”
“I began to read everything I could; it is all we talked at dinner. I was so intrigued for that. I literally began to expel an outline of the movie in my Blackberry,” he shared.
