The Philadelphia Eagles will go to the White House by the invitation of President Donald Trump to celebrate his Super Bowl Lix victory over the Kansas City bosses last month.
“We sent the invitation and accepted with enthusiasm. We are working with them to determine a date and logistics,” said a White House official to Pak Gazette Digital.
A team spokesman also confirmed Pak Gazette Digital that “the Eagles Philadelphia organization has accepted an invitation to visit the White House and is currently working to schedule a date and logistics.”

There were questions about whether the Eagles would accept an invitation after not doing so in 2018, but Trump told the viewer at the end of last month that the team would visit this time.
“They come here. Philadelphia comes here,” Trump told The Outlet.
Trump also announced the invitation to the team last month.

Johnson, who has spent the 12 seasons of the NFL with the franchise, was on the team when he won the first Vince Lombardi trophy of the organization in 2018, defeating New England’s patriots.
However, there was a controversy in that year when Trump rescinded his invitation to the Eagles, since some players said they would not visit the White House due to the criticism of the then 45th President to those who threw or lifted their fists during the national anthem to protest racial injustice and police brutality.
Trump issued a statement at that time with respect to his invitation cancellation, saying that “the 1,000 fans who plan to attend the event deserve something better.”
“They do not agree with their president because they insist that they proudly defend the national anthem, the hand in the heart, in honor of the great men and women of our army and the people of our country,” Trump’s statement was read seven years ago.

Seven years later, both parties are ready to celebrate a different victory.
As both parties pointed out, time and logistics must be resolved as the next steps to visit.
