Tremors were reported in the district of Barkhan, Baluchistan, early on Tuesday, just a few hours after Karachi was shaken by an earthquake.
At this stage, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
The earthquake, with magnitude 3.9, hit a depth of 12 kilometers, according to the United States geological service. The epicenter was located 59 kilometers northwest of Barkhan.
The authorities are monitoring the situation, although no significant effects have been observed from now on.
Previously, a moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 hit parts of Karachi and its surroundings on Monday afternoon, according to a statement from the MET office.
According to the earthquake monitoring center, the earthquake recorded a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 19 kilometers. It was reported that the earthquake epicenter was 75 kilometers north of Karachi.
The tremors felt at 4:11 pm, and many residents turned to social networks to share their experiences. However, there have been no immediate reports of damages or casualties of the earthquake.
